Videos and images that have lately surfaced online contradict claims that Mohbad father was ignorant that his son was getting married to Wunmi.
The Singer had a typical wedding ceremony with both of his parents in attendance, based on the video and pictures. Netizens’ reactions to this have been divided, with some criticising the Singer’s father for his phrasing.
When it came to the first-ever images and video of Mohbad, also known as Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, and his wife on their wedding day, opinions were divided.
Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, had earlier said he had no idea his son was getting married to Wunmi, his 24-year-old bride.
He said they were supposed to attend Mohbad’s introduction ceremony, but that was before the singer passed away. Joseph Aloba continued by saying that he didn’t realise they were having a conventional wedding until he arrived at the location and noticed a sizable crowd.
The payment of Wunmi’s bride price was verified on that day by Mohbad’s father as well.
Reactions have been triggered by pictures and a video that went viral online hours ago from the late singer’s wedding to his wife.
A lot of people believe that Mohbad’s father must have done something to his kid to make him unreliable because he did not appear like someone who was not aware of the occasion.
But some criticised those who disparaged Mohbad’s father, saying it wasn’t his fault he wasn’t taken along.
Mohbad’s father was pictured in the pictures beside his divorced wife and Wunmi, who sat in the middle of them as a traditional Yoruba sign of acceptance.
